An Ethical Alternative to the EAP Model
Are you wanting to offer a different approach to mental health and wellbeing support in your business? EAP schemes provide a one size fits all approach yet as individuals that model rarely fits. Statistics tell us that less than 5% of employees utilise UK schemes, many are signposted to external agencies for support or simply sent resources for self help when they do.
In my private practice I work online (UK wide), face to face in Chobham, and I offer Walk & Talk therapy on Chobham Common and private farmland in Chertsey, Surrey for those that embrace the healing power of nature, movement and the outdoors.
Employers can fund sessions either partially or fully or cover a set number in every 12 month period. I can also provide sessions onsite in your offices, should you have a suitable space. There is no retainer fee and as standard I provide the 'Little Book of Signposting' resource as a PDF, reviewed and updated every 6 months, tailored to support available within your local area, as well as Nationally, giving your team support at their fingers tips across the areas of physical, financial and emotional wellbeing for themselves and their families.
As a therapist, I have a special interest in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout, low self-esteem and confidence, low-mood and depression in the workplace, whether work-related or impacting their working life. I have experience working with NHS and blue light personnel that experience trauma or traumatic events in their working life and I can support people in this area too.
As a member of the BACP you can be assured of the professionalism and confidentiality of the work. You can review my verified Counselling Directory profile here.
